Welcome to my NYC Summer Project blogg!
Starting June 9th I will be embarking on possibly one of the biggest adventures of my life thus far.
If you would have told me a year ago that I would be going on Summer Project with Campus Crusade IN New York City I most likely would have laughed in your face! I was convinced up until about 6 months ago that I would be back at Caswell for the summer. It is a good thing God has had bigger plans. It amazes me that God has called me to NYC but it does not surprise me. I have always had a huge passion for the nations, students, and especially the lost. So its just amazing that I will be in a place where all of those passions will meet. Plus I get to spend the summer with other students who share the same vision as me. Which is to share the gospel with the college students and people of New York City. With over 1 million college students in the city alone, the need is great. I can't wait to see what the Lord will do in the hearts of the people of NYC. Also, im pretty sure He is prolly gonna rock my world. I can't wait to be grow spiritually and to be challenged in my faith.
Please pray for our team as we spend 5 weeks ministering to the people of New York City. Please pray that the Lord will prepare us and also prepare the hearts of the students and people of NYC. New York City is a city crying out for the love of Christ! My heart is broken for it and I hope that this summer he would use my team to spread his amazing gospel for his glory!
